Research Theme
- Characteristics of global normal modes in the middle atmosphere
I mainly study normal modes with a wave period of more than one day.
I am interested in the climatology of the normal mode, the relation between the deformation
of the normal mode structure and the background condition, and the excitation and/or amplification
mechanisms of the normal mode in the middle atmosphere. - Key word
the middle atmosphere, atmospheric wave, normal mode
