|講演題目||Dynamical responses in MLT region to ozone recovery and CO2 increase in the 21st century|
Many CCMs have simulated the ozone recovery with CO2 scenarios in the 21st century as a part of CCMVal activity. We used WACCM data to examine the response in the MLT dynamics to the stratospheric ozone recovery in the periods of 2005-2050. As a result of ozone recovery, summer mesospheric equatorward flow is accelerated, followed by the strong upwelling below the mesopause in the southern polar region. These results are consistent with those of Smith et al.  which showed dynamical responses to the ozone destruction in the last half of 20th century by WACCM simulation data. Most CCMs have showed an acceleration of the stratospheric circulation during the GHG increase. We compared three simulations with different CO2 scenarios performed by WACCM. On our analysis, significant variations in the middle atmosphere dynamics associated with GHG variabilities are found.
